Our goal for our Shareable Saturday emails is to end your week and start your weekend on a positive note.

When we select the quotes, we choose messages that we think are profound yet simple. And we love it when our subscribers see something more complex than we did.

Recently our Shareable Saturday message was this:

Bad news is: You cannot make people like, love, understand, validate, accept or be nice to you. You can’t control them either.
Good news is: It doesn’t matter.

Some of the responses we got were shareable.

Yes, I can, and yes, it does!
Understanding, compassion are trainable (and vitally important) skills. Humanity would be vastly better off, once everyone learned them.

Mark Goldstein, Central Florida area director for CLC, wrote:

The problem is with people who are an “I” in the DISC profile. For us it does matter and drives us crazy!

Krystal Parker, president of the U.S. Christian Chamber of Commerce, wrote:

If you try to make everyone like you, understand, validate, accept and be nice to you, it is an indication you are living for acceptance in the world. When those likes disappear, and they will, you will be crushed. When you live for the One that created you, nobody can ever steal your joy. I serve only one master, my Maker is my mirror!

We appreciate all of our subscribers. If you're not receiving Shareable Saturday emails, click here to join our list.
