What do you do with the props after a photo shoot?

We’re working on a holiday collection for Faith Works Images for Impact. If you sign up for our mailing list, we’ll let you know when it’s available.

Chocolate bunnies with eggs

Wasn't easy keeping track of the eggs in the grass.

Because we’re in the Easter season and the stores have plenty of inventory, we bought many of the items we needed to create Easter-themed images, such as chocolate bunnies, plastic and chocolate eggs, yellow peeps, baskets, fake grass and so on.

We needed to shoot the Easter lilies while they were in bloom, and it made sense to shoot the other items at the same time.

The chocolate bunnies were a bit wobbly in the grass.

We had a good time with it—arranging eggs that kept rolling out of position, trying to keep the chocolate bunnies from falling over and so on.

We got some good shots that will be available in time for you to use next year. And that takes us back to the issue of …

Oops. This chocolate bunny came out of the package in two pieces.

… what to do with the props after a photoshoot.

Silly question. The non-perishable items will go in our prop closet. But the chocolate, of course, we had to eat.

What would you have done?
