Generative AI should excite and empower you.
The headlines are full of dire warnings about AI and how it’s going to be the end of society. Even Elon Musk called it “dangerous technology.”
There’s a lot about the development of AI that I don’t understand. I’m not a tech creator, I’m a tech user. I won’t argue with Elon Musk about what sort of regulations we need for future AI development.
But the AI that we are currently using doesn’t scare me and it shouldn’t scare you.
Writers and content creators will work better by learning how to use and integrate generative AI into our work. According to an AI-generated post on the World Economic Forum website:
Generative AI refers to a category of AI algorithms that generate new outputs based on the data they have been trained on.
It uses a type of deep learning called generative adversarial networks and has a wide range of applications, including creating images, text and audio.
While there are concerns about the impact of AI on the job market, there are also potential benefits such as freeing up time for humans to focus on more creative and value-adding work.
As I’ve said before, I don’t think AI will ever replace human writers, but it can help us be more productive and efficient—and even boost our creativity.
I routinely use AI to write things like social media posts and website metadata. If you’re reading this because of one of my Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter posts, you saw a real-life example of the AI tool I use in action.
I’ve used AI to brainstorm ideas, organize projects, and come up with ways to repurpose existing content. It’s helped me write headlines, figure out keywords, and fill in gaps in articles. The more I use it, the more ways I find to make it work for me. And it even includes an AI image generator.
Do I use AI-generated content exactly as the tool suggests? Rarely. I take that content and quickly tweak it to make it more powerful and effective—and that’s something only a human can do.
There are a lot of AI tools out there, but the one I use and recommend is QuickWrite.
It’s a new product developed by CJ McDaniel, the creator of MockupShots, one of my favorite book and product marketing tools. I used it to create the image at the top of this post. Go here to learn more about it.
QuickWrite was developed exclusively for writers and content creators. During the beta launch, it’s been available through CJ McDaniel’s affiliate network at the special introductory price of $197 for lifetime access—and yes, we’re part of that network.
As of April 1, 2023, QuickWrite is available to the public for $49 a month. But affiliates can continue to offer it for the special lifetime access price of $197.

QuickWrite comes with a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. If you don’t like it, CJ will give you a refund. But I think you’ll wonder how you ever did without it.
