What inspired you to write your book?

For the past 20+ years, I have worked with hundreds of people as a licensed mental health counselor and a business coach. Of the many tools in my professional toolkit, the most effective one by far has been interactive prayer—the basis for Strategic Prayer. Recently, God has challenged me to teach as many people as I could to listen to him in prayer. A book can reach a lot more people than I can as a speaker or coach.

I wasn’t sure Strategic Prayer could be taught in a book, but several people encouraged me to try. I was amazed in the process of writing the book how God gave me insights for ways to communicate in writing that I had never thought of before in coaching and speaking contexts.
