Do you suffer from anxiety?
In her new book, Healing Anxiety: A natural approach to managing anxiety, worry, and fear, Dominga Nunez, ND, CNHP, explains how you can heal and regain your life with natural approaches.
Anxiety is a debilitating condition that affects millions of people. According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), anxiety disorders are the most common mental illnesses in the United States. Many struggle through devastating anxiety attacks without realizing what’s wrong.
Nunez approaches this challenging topic from two perspectives: as someone who has suffered and healed from anxiety and as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. She candidly discusses her personal journey through incapacitating anxiety attacks as she explains the causes of and holistic approaches for this common condition.
She writes:
Anxiety takes control of your ability to perform everyday tasks, it robs you of quality of life, it negatively impacts your productivity on the job, it disrupts relationships, and ultimately deteriorates your health and life. It takes strength and determination to seize control of anxiety and manage it.
But there is hope and help!
In Healing Anxiety, Nunez explains what anxiety is and isn’t, what causes it, who gets it, how to manage it naturally, and the role faith plays in healing. The book includes comprehensive discussions of various natural remedies, including flower essences, herbs, and essential oils.
Her goal, Nunez says, was to provide an easy-to-read solution for anyone suffering from anxiety. “When I was sick from anxiety, I didn’t want to read a textbook on the subject, I wanted answers,” she says. “I wrote the book I wish had been available when I needed it.”
