Book Review:

One Nation: What We Can All Do to Save America’s Future by Ben Carson, MD

Ben Carson, M.D.

I first became aware of Dr. Ben Carson after he spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in February 2013 and became an immediate fan—but I hadn’t read any of his books until a friend gave me a copy of One Nation and asked me to read it then pass it on. “Everyone needs to read this book,” she said.

She was right.

Dr. Carson is a voice of reason in a culture bogged down by political correctness and submission.

One Nation begins with an honest, clear-eyed assessment of the state of our precious country. Dr. Carson doesn’t pull any punches or take sides, he simply tells it like it is.

Then he offers solutions, actions each of us can take starting today to return the United States to greatness, to the vision of our founders.

Every chapter begins with a passage from Proverbs (I doubt that Dr. Carson has read my book, Words to Work By, but I’m proud that we took the same approach to sharing our respective messages) and ends with specific action steps.

The book itself is a fairly easy read; what we have to do next is not. But we have to do it and there is no time to waste.

If you haven’t read One Nation, I urge you to click on the image below and get your copy today. Don’t wait until it’s too late—read it and let’s all take action now.
