Tell us about your book:

Patches Farmland Adventures is more than coloring/puzzle book; every other page is filled with fun chatter from Patches the Turtle about the work page to follow. The books are designed so families and friends can enjoy them together. Patches Farmland Adventures features contest winners as varied as twins age 8 to a 22-year-old college student.

What inspired you to write your book?

We live in a world where children (and adults) are not always taught that each is uniquely special, designed by the Creator, filled with talents and abilities. Coloring/activity books are a natural way to encourage self-esteem and promote friendships.

Patches Farmland Adventures by Susie Kinslow Adams (cover)What are the key takeaways readers will get from your book?

This is not an ordinary coloring book. Each page will encourage children and adults to use creative talents and learn about Jesus' love for them. More than a coloring page or puzzle to complete, there is meaning and purpose behind each page.

What else would you like readers to know about you and your book?

I am an encourager. I want to pass that on to others, to make our world a better place to live. I believe the smallest of things like a coloring book can make a huge difference in a person's life. I enlisted school art teachers and local businesses in developing this book—they have inspired me!
