Tell us about your book:
Empowered by Jesus Christ describes the empowering benefits of praying for others and meditating on Christ’s message of goodwill toward ourselves and others.
What inspired you to write your book?
Overcoming the obstacles of perceived bullying and negative self-talk inspired me to write this guidebook to help others to overcome similar obstacles in their lives.
What are the key takeaways readers will get from your book?
Embracing Jesus Christ in my life, I realized that life’s bullies are not necessarily “over there,” or “the behavior of someone else.” More often than not, life’s bully is the way I perceive the world.
What else would you like readers to know about you and your book?
The book mentions the ego-self as the harbinger of our frustrations in life. Our ego-self is the barking dog that does not differentiate between the arrival of a thief and the arrival of a friendly neighbor. Our goal is to assuage the ego-self saying, “there, there, everything is okay.”
Where can readers get your book?
It’s available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle.
What other books have you published?
Gifts of Empowerment, which is a secular version of Empowered by Jesus Christ.
