Email marketing can be powerful — but only if your readers know how to whitelist your email address so they receive your messages.
In my blog “Do You Check Your Spam Folder?”, I suggested that it's a good idea to periodically take a look at what your email system is reading as junk to be sure messages you want to receive aren't being routed to your spam folder.
But how do you know if the messages you're sending are being received?
One way is to teach your readers how to add you to their safe senders list or whitelist your address so they are sure to receive your emails.
We found some links you can share with your audience that explain what they can do to make sure they receive the emails they want.
Faith in the News shares these links in its subscription welcome message. It's a great idea you might want to consider using.
What strategies do you use to assure delivery of your emails? Please share below.
