Inner Voice: Unlock Your Purpose and Passion by Russ Whitney (Hay House, 2013) will be available Sept. 23

The night before he left for the retreat in Hawaii, Russ Whitney called me. He told me he wouldn’t be available for a while because he was going to have a heart transplant.

He’d been drinking and was clearly joking. He was also not completely ready to face the adventure that was ahead for him. I didn’t tell him that I knew what was really going on – there was no point. I had worked with Russ Whitney as the ghostwriter on three of his earlier books (four if you count the revision of his first commercially-published book Building Wealth) and on a number of other projects over the years. That gave me a front row seat to the series of events leading up to his departure for the extended stay in Hawaii where he began to understand Inner Voice™.

As a ghostwriter, my job is to help my clients effectively communicate their message to their audience, whether it’s through books, ebooks, articles, blogs, speeches, or whatever we feel is appropriate.
